We imagine spaces and objects that do not yet exist, shaping them through layers of thought until, through the hands of craftspeople and the act of making, they take form in the world for the first time.
Beginning with research and exploration rooted in folklore and biology, we go to the places themselves—meeting people, materials, and environments firsthand to gain knowledge that can only come from being there.

We breathe life into the spaces we create through thoughtful curation and programming, allowing each place to grow through practice and experience, and continuing to care for it through ongoing stewardship.

We carefully document and gather the knowledge and experience that emerge from this process, opening them to the wider world through sharing and exchange. And from there, we return once again to Research.
